لَقَدْ رَأَىٰ مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِ الْكُبْرَىٰ ١٨
For truly did he see, of the Signs of his Lord, the Greatest!
53:19
أَفَرَأَيْتُمُ اللَّاتَ وَالْعُزَّىٰ ١٩
Have ye seen Lat. and 'Uzza,
53:20
وَمَنَاةَ الثَّالِثَةَ الْأُخْرَىٰ ٢٠
And another, the third (goddess), Manat?
53:21
أَلَكُمُ الذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ الْأُنْثَىٰ ٢١
What! for you the male sex, and for Him, the female?
53:22
تِلْكَ إِذًا قِسْمَةٌ ضِيزَىٰ ٢٢
Behold, such would be indeed a division most unfair!
